Welcome to our CAKE MENU page.  What follows is a list of
the delicious cakes we are currently baking.  This list will
change from time to time because there are so many
cakes...so little time.  Try not to get too comfortable with
just one favorite because as someone once said, "Change is
good."

Las Vegas Bakery
FIRST, we don't do SHEET CAKES.  It's just not what we do.  Sheet cakes are from
grocery/warehouse-supply stores which, we are not.  We make our cakes ROUND
and with 3 LAYERS in 3 DIFFERENT SIZES; 6-inch, 8-inch and 10-inch.  If you need
cake to feed a crowd, we suggest you get more than one.  You might even
consider getting different kinds to offer a VARIETY.
SECOND, we don't make cakes in the
shape of a SHOE or whatever else
you can think of.  It's just not what
we do.  We can however DRAW A
SHOE on YOUR CAKE if that's what
you're into
(hey, you'd be surprised).
SPECIAL ORDERS REQUIRE
A MINIMUM OF 48 HOURS NOTICE
Less than that and you may choose from the
fresh cakes on-hand for people who don't
pre-order.   Call us or stop by the bakery.
THIRD, and I know this may be
tough for some of you but...
we don't do GOBBS OF FLOWERS
MADE FROM ICING!  In fact, we
rather despise that approach and
may laugh out loud to your face
when you ask - but in a nice way
of course!...
We tend to favor a "LESS IS MORE"
approach when it comes to decorating
our cakes.  All of our cakes are offered
in SPECIAL OCCASION versions which
include CUSTOMIZED SENTIMENTS AND
CANDLES.  Additional design work takes
additional time and therefore costs
additional money.  Someone else also
once said "Time is money."

your "vision" any time.  
'05, '06, '07, '08
LASTLY, our cakes are MADE FROM SCRATCH.  We
use ALL NATURAL INGREDIENTS.  There are NO
PRESERVATIVES and NO TRANS FATS.  We use real
butter, heavy cream, flour, sugar, very high
quality (and expensive) vanilla and cocoa.   Our
fruit fillings are made the old fashioned way and
cooked down, often times with liqueurs
(we like
that part!)
.  Oh, and don't forget the nuts.  Have
you seen the price of pecans lately?
Anyway, the point is that we invest a
lot of time and money in every cake we
bake because every day it's somebody's
BIRTHDAY or ANNIVERSARY or
WEDDING or BABY SHOWER or just
GOTTA HAVE CAKE today.  We think
that's important enough to do it right.

cake filled with a creamy
custard of toasted coconut
and pecans frosted with
chocolate butter cream.

layered and frosted

either our
dark
fudge frosting
or
vanilla butter
cream.
CURLY GIANDUJA
(JON-DOO-YA)
Layers of dark Chocolate cake
filled with Gianduja (dark
chocolate hazelnut) mousse and
finished with a coat of
Bittersweet Chocolate ganache.  
Garnished with curls of Gianduja
chocolate and toasted hazelnuts.

Vanilla butter cake
layered and frosted
with
either dark
fudge frosting
or
vanilla butter cream.
RASPBERRY BLONDE
Vanilla butter cake
layered with raspberries
cooked in Chambord
syrup then frosted in
vanilla butter cream.
VANILLA COOKIE
Vanilla butter cake
layered with chocolate
cookie mousse and
frosted with vanilla
butter cream.
NO MELLOW YELLOW
Vanilla butter cake filled with
tart lemon curd then frosted
with sweet vanilla butter
cream.
BLOODY GOOD!
White chocolate cake
filled with blood orange
curd and frosted with
white chocolate orange
cream cheese frosting.
HEAVENLY COCONUT
Vanilla butter cake filled  
with coconut cream
mousse and frosted with
fresh whipped cream and
more coconut.
BOSTON CREAM PIE CAKE
Moist layers of vanilla cake filled
with our homemade vanilla custard.  
We crumb coat the cake in a thin
layer of chocolate butter cream
then drench it in bittersweet
chocolate ganache.
TIRAMISU
Lady finger sponge cakes soaked
in espresso and Amaretto
(almond) liqueur and layered with
a sweetened mascarpone cheese
filling wrapped in shards of
chocolate.
CARROT
Extra moist full of
carrots, pineapple,
coconut  & raisins
filled and frosted
with our tangy-
sweet cream chesses
frosting.
GOOD KARMA
Moist gingerbread cake
baked with Guiness
Stout frosted with
cream cheese frosting
and garnished with
candied pistachios.

GOLDEN NUGGET FORTUNE
Caramel butter cream surrounds a
dense blondie chocolate chip
cake separated by layers of
chocolate mousse. Hidden within
is a golden chocolate truffle for
luck!
BANANA-BERRY
Moist banana cake filled with
layers of cream cheese
frosting and strawberry
marmalade then covered with
more tangy-sweet cream
cheese frosting.
LOVE MONKEY
Banana cake layers
filled with peanut
butter mousse then
covered in chocolate
ganache.

OH, ONE MORE THING... The cake flavor combinations we've created below are specifically designed to be
amazing.  And for that reason, we do not honor requests to change fillings, frostings or cake flavors.
